Had a nice stay at night during my Garden Route trip, glad I've chosen it. There were a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and a microwave in my brand-new and spacious room. - the staff and the host were all friendly and pleasant. - the location of the hotel was particularly good - at a medium distance from Palms Garden Square.

The value for money at Amber Light was excellent, and the room was top-notch. The location was perfect, with restaurants and the beach within walking distance, and the staff treated us wonderfully.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

I recently stayed at Amber Light Wilderness Beach Cottage for a week-long vacation. The location was absolutely ideal, with easy access to the restaurants at Wilderness town center, the lagoon, and the beach. The convenience of having a coffee shop next door was fantastic, and the supermarket was just a short walk away. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially loved that we could sleep with the windows open and wake up to the delightful chirping of birds in the morning. The cottage's design, with 5 independent rooms sharing a common lounge, kitchen, and dining room, was perfect. And the furniture was not only excellent, but also tastefully coordinated. one of the best guest houses I have ever seen.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The cleanliness of the sleeping room and bathroom was top-notch, which was a relief after a week-long road trip. The hosts, Jennifer and Karen, were incredibly welcoming and supportive, providing valuable information for us as foreign tourists. Plus, they went the extra mile and even lent us umbrellas. The central location was perfect, with restaurants and entertainment just a stone's throw away. the atmosphere of the property was warm and inviting, and we particularly enjoyed the communal dining area where we could relax and socialize.
There were a couple of disappointing aspects during our stay. Ross, one of the hosts, had a rather impatient and rude attitude.

The setup of the space and the overall environment were fantastic. We had our own private room within the large property, which also had a communal area for eating and lounging. the friendly and kind people, especially Jennifer, the on-site domestic, made our stay even better. She was so helpful and we loved chatting with her. the location of the property was perfect, with restaurants, entertainment, and a spa nearby. We also appreciated having a coffee shop next door, which added to the great vibe of the place. Cons: No issues. 😊.

The attention to detail and the thoughtfulness in every corner made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, which is always important for senior people like me. The hotel's accessibility was excellent, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby. It made everything convenient and hassle-free during my stay.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, I would say that it would be nice to have some additional assistance from the staff. The children working there did their best, but having someone specifically available to help senior guests with any needs or concerns would enhance the experience even more.
